In my Goyard St. Louis Tote...Finally

Goyard Storefront in Paris
Several years ago I wanted (and needed) to find a good quality, lightweight tote that was as chic as it was practical. After considering many options, my choice then was clearly between the Louis Vuitton Neverfull and the Goyard St. Louis. At the time, I happened to have a trip to Paris where I stayed in a hotel (Hotel Bel-Ami) right around the corner from a LV boutique, and of course bought the Neverfull. Although I don't regret that purchase (except for one reason, see my post from way back when here), I still loved the classic luxe yet understated style of the Goyard.

During a trip to Paris last month, I resisted the urge to take advantage of all the sales going on in Paris and finally, bought a Goyard. Never on sale, but definitely worth the investment... Love it.
Goyard St.Louis Tote Bag Blue
With the consecutive high temps this past month, I especially love the lighter feel of this bag. And so convenient for a last minute throw in of an extra pair of shoes, water bottle, whatever...

This is 'What's In My Bag' today:

Oh, and my cellphone which is still in the attached pouch (my fave feature).

Electric Blue Moto Jacket Obsessed

I have this thing with moto jackets.  If I could get one in every color, I would. And if I could get multiple of my faves, then perfect.  Currently, I'm obsessed with this electric blue moto jacket from Rebecca Taylor.  Love how the edgy style of the jacket transforms with a bright and whimsical blue shade. Softer yet bolder.

Perfect to make a statement with a minimal-chic look...

Now, if only fall and spring would last longer so I can wear these jackets more often... That, or I'll have to move to LA and wear them every evening!

Bioderma Micellar Cleanser Review

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Cleanser

After hearing its rave reviews (including my sister’s!) for way too long, I finally bought and tried Bioderma’s Sensibio H2O cleanser. It did not disappoint. A no-rinse micellar cleanser and make-up remover, Bioderma’s Sensibio H2O removed my foundation, blush, mascara (regular, not sure how it would work with water-proof mascara) and everything else. Labelled fragrance-free, alcohol-free, paraben-free, and hypoallergenic, it is soothing and wipes off clean without an oily or sticky residue.

This particular cleanser is formulated for sensitive, normal to dry skin. Bioderma also has Sébium H2O for sensitive oily skin and Hydrabio H2O for dehydrated sensitive skin. I have acne-prone and oily/combination skin (lucky me, right?!) and the Sensibio still works well (used it for several weeks) for my skin type. Although it is a ‘no-rinse’ cleanser, I still feel the need to follow with my regular gentle face wash for ‘end of the day’ make-up removal and cleansing. But maybe that is due to my more oily skin… Nevertheless, I love how it gently and effectively removes my make-up without making me break-out, and my skin feels refreshed and soothed after use. Priced lower than many other make-up removers and cleansers I have tried, this Bioderma cleanser is a welcome addition to my make-up kit and toiletry bag.

70's Saddle Bag: An 'It' Bag for Fall

Fave Saddle Bags- Fall's Must Have Bag
Love it or not, seventies fashion is a major trend this season and will continue to be one for Fall 2015. An easy and beautiful way to incorporate the trend into your wardrobe is with a saddle bag: a classic reference to the decade.

The Chloe 'Goldie', Tom Ford 'jennifer', Chloe 'Marcie' and Jil Sander 'Robin' are some of my fave saddle bags available now.

Shop the post (and some more saddle bags I love):

Hope you're having a great week!
