Paris Getaway – Part 2

close-up of breakfast basket of rolls and croissants

So this is how I started my day while I was in Paris. It was carb-loving heaven. Ok, I know the French don’t typically have croissants every day, but hey, I was on vacation and it was so good.

We stayed at the Hotel Montalembert. Chic and intimate, the hotel was a luxurious home away from home in Saint Germain des Prés, our favorite area of Paris. The rooms are a bit (ok, very) small, but I think that the smaller space adds to its coziness and charm. And for shorter stays, it is perfect!

We arrived in Paris on Bastille Day, so this was our view of the fireworks from the hotel room that evening. Gorgeous. And a great welcome to Paris!

Love the whimsical tassels on these flats. Think I need a pair…

Since I was on vacation, I didn’t take as many pics with my DSLR as much as I would have liked, so head on over to my instagram to see some more such as here, here and here. Thanks for visiting and…

Bonsoir!

So envious of your Paris getaway Josephina! It's so pretty there during the summer months. So cool that you arrived on Bastille Day too. The last time we were in Paris, we had croissants for breakfast every day and crepes every night 🙂

I wish there was a store that sells Etude House in NYC but I haven't found one yet. Down the block from TonyMoly on the other side is a small Face Shop store though.

Thanks for the make-up info, Rowena! I will have to check out TonyMoly and Faceshop.
