Arm Candy...

On my arm today...

It's often in the most unexpected places that I find my most favorite additions to my accessory arsenal.  Went to a local Holiday Boutique/Party last night expecting to just browse/socialize more than shop, and of course I did more shopping than anything else!  The bracelets in the picture above are from a collection called Simply Stunning.  Rather than design the jewelry, the owner of the business curates her pieces with a sharp eye for trends and overall great style while maintaining a lower price point.  The result truly is stunning.  I also bought a fabulous necklace from her that I can't wait to wear!

Another exciting discovery that night was a line of bags of which I am absolutely obsessed!  I put a bag on order (can't wait!) and will share it in a separate post when I receive it.

Thanks for visiting and hope you're having a great week!

What I bought [so far] this week...

Vieta clutch, Tai bracelet(similar here), 7 for All Mankind "The Skinny"

As my denim supply was becoming increasingly threadbare, I knew I needed to find replacements...fast.  These skinnies from 7 for All Mankind have a great fit/look and they are so comfortable!

Love this clutch for its pop of color (and it was on sale!).

This Tai bracelet adds subtle sparkle to the rest of my arm candy.  Who doesn't like a little extra bling?

Happy Thanksgiving!

Just wanted to take a break from my all day eat-a-thon to thank all of my readers, followers, and fellow bloggers.  Your support and comments are truly appreciated!

Obsession of the week - 7 for All Mankind and Oxblood

This season (and probably for many seasons more), I am loving the very popular oxblood color and the leather/faux-leather looks.  These pants by 7 for All Mankind are the perfect marriage of the 2 trends.  Coated to be leather-like, they really do feel and look like leather.  Add the rich shade of oxblood (7 for  All Mankind calls it "merlot") and gold hardware, and you get distinctively luxurious pants at a fraction of the price of real leather.  But the best part of it all, is that you get the amazing fit and style of a 7 for All Mankind jean.  In fact, I'll have to do another post about their fit.  I've tried almost every denim brand out there, but this is one that I come back to the most.  By far(for my body type at least), the most flattering!

Similar color on my toes...

Zara...Rediscovered!

Some Zara accessories I love...
For years, I have been ignoring Zara on the assumption that the products would be of lesser quality. A couple of months ago, I had some time to kill before an appointment and decided to step into one of their stores near Bryant Park. I was immediately in love! The clothes(and accessories) were on-trend, the prices reasonable, and the quality(for the items I considered) exceeded my expectations.

On my wishlist...

Obsession of the Week - Balmain's "Pierre" Bag

Take a breath...okay, exhale....

That is my reaction whenever I see the Balmain "Pierre" bag.  Love, love, love it!  It is luxurious (see the beautiful sheepskin lining?), elegantly simple in design and functional (it's a satchel!).  The epitome of casual chic!
As Balmain's first handbag, this gorgeous satchel is a result of a collaboration between Balmain's Olivier Rousteing and jewelry designer, Aurélie Bidermann.

Obsession of the week - House of Harlow Jewelry

The House of Harlow 1960 jewelry line by Nicole Richie is a great combination of edgy and glamorous.  The collection is perfect for the woman that enjoys expressing herself through her clothes and accessories.

Some items on my House of Harlow wish list...

Recently bought the necklace and ring below:
