Love these looks...

Love the bold statement of the Prabal Gurung trouser below (notice how the metallic purple "drips" into a sheer pant leg) contrasted with a classic white button-up shirt and minimal, fitted white jacket.   Add the YSL bag and it's très chic!  Sometimes(in fashion), flashy + simple = sophisticated.

On its own, the white shirt and pants as seen below is a basic spring/summer uniform.  But add the bold statement of a leopard print jacket and gladiator style stilettos (want them!), and the outfit is transformed into one that is fashion-forward and sexy.

As a strong believer that your clothes can and should complement your personality and your image, I love the look below because it exudes confidence and strength yet still having a hint of femininity.

There's nothing more classic than a Chanel bag.  Love this one, because it's a great combination of not too structured and not too slouchy.

Bagatelle, West Hollywood

Bagatelle in West hollywood, a French Mediterrannean restaurant that is chic, luxurious, and fun.  Went there for one of our final nights out in LA.  :(  Not only a place for great food, but their DJ makes you want to get up and dance(in the middle of dinner!).   Can't wait for their re-opening in Manhattan!
Now, back to fashion...
I love the contrast of black and white that's been showing up all over the runways, magazines, and the street (on the fashion cognoscenti).  I found this gorgeous Dolce and Gabbana white tuxedo jacket on sale and had to join the trend!

Outfit details:
Jacket- Dolce and Gabbana (similar here)

Gladstone's, Malibu

Gladstone's is one of my favorite restaurants to visit when I'm in the LA area.  Located right on the Pacific Coast in Malibu, the views are amazing and the seafood is absolutely delicious!  If you're lucky, you may even spot a celebrity or two...

Top - Rag and Bone "Beach" top (can't tell from the pic, but it is actually an open knit or mesh fabric- great trend for Spring)
Pants - Sanctuary (get similar here)
Belt - Club Monaco (faux snakeskin)
Bag - Louis Vuitton "Neverfull"

Some Nail Colors for Spring

With Spring upon us (in the NY area) and the perpetually warm and sunny weather of LA, I'm obsessed with lighter colors for my nails.  Below are 2 of my favorite colors right now.
