Louis Vuitton vs. Goyard, Part II

Ah, the dilemna...  Many posts ago I concluded that I wanted both the Louis Vuitton Neverfull and the Goyard St. Louis tote.  Now, I realize that I need both...Currently, I only own the Neverfull, but after being caught in the rain several times while carrying this bag, I realized that I needed an alternate.  Unfortunately, the light color leather on the straps and detailing gets immediately stained by moisture.  Since I am a die hard fan of the traditional monogram canvas,  the darker styles(at least for the tote) just won't do! I tried some other styles by other brands such as a satchel, cross-body, etc., but there was not a comparable bag that was equally lightweight, roomy, and classic...except of course, the Goyard!

This is the specific Goyard on my wishlist:

Burberry Prorsum F/W '12

As a relatively new fan of Burberry Prorsum and the mastermind, Christopher Bailey, behind it, the collection for F/W 2012 did not disappoint!

Country looks were given an urban edge.  I loved the oversize ruffles on the skirts, the youthful cropped jackets, and the vintage feel of the clothes.

My favorite looks from Burberry Prorsum's F/W '12 collection:

I especially love the studded gloves and clutch from the 5th look above...

Topshop Finds

As a believer of mixing high and low, Topshop is a great and chic source for reasonably priced (read: inexpensive) basics for your wardrobe.

My purchases from a visit to Topshop earlier this week.  All this for about $200.
