The calm [night] before the storm…

There’s something about Halloween that brings out the fun-loving and laid-back side of New Yorkers.  Well, at least in downtown Manhattan…  Went out for dinner in Soho on Saturday and was loving the friendly energy of all the costume-party partygoers roaming the streets.  It happened to be a “warm” night, so combine that with the relaxed mood of Halloween and you definitely got an eerie calm before the [Hurricane Sandy] storm!
Recognize the clutch?  There are definitely certain items in my closet that are worth the outflow of $, which is why I believe you only buy the things you love even if you need to save up for them!  Fortunately, this clutch was not very expensive!!
Outfit details:
Clutch- Deux Lux faux leather
Horn Necklace (my own)
Shoes- Chie Mihara
Had dinner at The Dutch on Sullivan Street which had o.k. food, great drinks, and a wonderful waitstaff.
Note to self: Ask beforehand if the shrimp will be served with head intact…
Homemade sausage was delicious!
The bakery below was closed, but I’m definitely going back to try their cookies!  Yumm!!
If you are or were in Hurricane Sandy’s path, best wishes to stay safe!!

I absolutely LOVE your outfit, especially the fringe sleeve top…amazing! That's hilarious, I can't stand when they leave the shrimp heads on!
